I am a certified Medical Herbalist, having completed my training in Clinical Herbalism with the Irish School of Herbal Medicine, with a focus in Western Herbalism and the Vitalist tradition. I am also a qualified Iridologist with a certificate in Vitalist nutrition. Over the course of the 4 year qualification, I completed 600 in-person clinical training hours. I am registered with the Irish Register of Herbalists.
I have also studied with Sajah Popham of the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, the Matthew Wood Institute of Herbalism and Judith Hill to integrate the energetic, elemental, astrological and alchemical aspects of plants. This has helped me understand the root behind imbalances in the body, how and why plants work their best (and differently) on individual constitutions by connecting the dots between many holistic traditions. Plants are not just the sum of their phytochemical constituents, but living spirits with their own inclinations and guidance to offer.
I teach from a place rooted in self-practice, personal experience and self-inquiry, and with the belief that yoga is for every body. My journey with yoga began in 2017, since then I have completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training:
Foundational hatha yoga in-person with a studio in Dublin.
Functional yin yoga and functional yang yoga teacher training in-person with Grace Tempany for a thorough understanding of anatomy, fascia, energy meridians, yoga nidra and the mind/body connection.
Traditional tantric hatha yoga training with Jenny Ní Ruiséil and Chrissie Chung for another layer of understanding of the subtle, energetic body, mantra and breath.
I have ongoing study and practise through the Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies.
I am currently enrolled in Joshua Schrei’s the Mythic Body, a living practise of mythological study through animist ritual.
I am currently in ceremony apprenticeship with Angharad Wynne and Fiona Shaw.
